Martial Law Declared in Maguindanao

 Due to the unfaithful event that happened two weeks ago in Maguindanao (Maguindanao Massacre) A Martial law were declared in Maguindanao, the proclamation 1959.

After the declaration of Martial Law, several suspects were arrested including some high profile politicians. Several raids were also conducted that leads to the discovery of several high powered armaments. Now the Maguindanao area is in full military control. The Martial Law will only last for 2 months.

Some legal experts questioned the legality of the declarationof Martial Law by the Arroyo government  and said that it was over kill. The Martial Law is only allowed in times of rebellion and total chaos.

On Monday the Congress will decide if they will permit the continued declaration of Martial Law in Maguindanao.
